There was a review from a beta tester that didn't sound so good.
But it may have been premature to review the game, and the reviewer admitted to having incredibly high expectations.

This is Warhammer Online, not Warhammer 40,000 online. Don't ever tease me with a link about the 40k mmo ever again.

And while a 40K MMORPG is in the works, we have no details about it so far.

No, it's Warhammer Online. 40k online doesn't exist. You may be confusing it with Dawn of War.

I did hear a rumour about 40k online, but that's no where near beta.

Warhammer Online on the other hand is supposed to be released this year.

If it's 40k where are the Dark Angels, eh?

This is Fantasy, not 40k, but if you want more evidence, I'll ask the guys on Tuesday. However I highly doubt there will be a 40k MMO, you seem to be getting Dawn of War, Dark Heresy and Warhammer Online mixed up.

Playing as a traitor Sister of Battle could be fun though...

Dawn of War is RTS, has been for a while. I think it has some online capabilities, but not in anyway like an MMO.

OK, so, to recap:

First: The original link is to Warhammer Age of Reckoning, the WHFB MMORPG. Currently in beta state, coming soon. Some beta testers have expressed concerns, and it faces serious competition (WoW, Age of Conan, ...)

Second: The intended link is to Dawn of War: Soulstorm, the third part of the (magnificent) Dawn of War Real time strategy game. Out now (I've finished it with IG). Nice game, but not an RPG.

Third: The topic would refer to a WH40K online RPG, which is reportedly in the making. NO details are known, all we have is a statement that it's in the works (probably more like in the planning).
